The Vernazza Opera Festival was started by Julia Bonilla in 2016. It was created so that opera could be enjoyed in the beautiful Cinque Terre. There have been many talented singers and pianists who have performed in the Vernazza Oratorio which is over 700 years old. Inside the 14th century building is the original baroque alter that was moved there from the main church during renovations.
